This was a religious trip to the temple town of Guruvayoor with Wife, kids and in-laws. Started (trip meter at 0 km, time 6.20 am), on 5th May, from for Guruvayoor. Route is on NH47 (continuation of the Bangalore- Coimbatore route) to Thrissur, and diverting on the state highway to Kunnamkulam, and a further deviation before Kunnamkulam to Guruvayoor. Reached Guruvayoor by 8:05 am.
After visiting the temple, which was very crowded, had breakfast at Ramakrishna Lunch Home (a good, clean place on East Nada), and stated back at 10.15 am. We were back in Palakkad by 12:20 pm (trip meter at 196 km).
