Spent the last weeking chosing a new phone for my dad. The requirement was simple, a reliable phone with features that he would use and be comfortable with.
For reliability and solid build, I stuck with Nokia, and limited my search to this. Here is then the model solution, with increasing features (and price).
The features that I looked for were qwerty, 3G, wifi, gps and price.
C3 qwerty/wifi 6.3K
C5 3g/gps 7.6K
e63 qwerty/3g/gps 9K
e51 3g/wifi 11.2K
e5 qwerty/3g/wifi/gps 11.4K
e52 3g/wifi/gps 11.8K
e71 qwerty/3g/wifi/gps 13K
e55 3g/wifi/gps 18K
I thought this would give you a neat picture for value (features/price). I got my dad the c3. He didn't think he would change to 3G or use the GPS. Wifi was just a bonus that came in at that price.
